I can't see her, the Angel that
watches over me.
I can feel her, sense her, I know
she is there.
As a child she protected me,
brought me through abuses of all kinds.
God gave her to me when I was born.
He knew that I was going to need her.
And need her I did.
As a lost teenager, she saved my life,
much more than once.
I use to wonder what she looked like.
I imagined her with long blond hair,
like me, and a beautiful spirit filled face.
Long flowing pure white wings.
She steps lightly beside me and on
occasion she has been known to
infold me in her wings and carry me.
She has held my hand in my dreams.
She guided me as I almost died in childbirth,
making me stay earth bound and also
giving me the life of my child.
She blew Gods breath into us both.
Today, she walks hand in hand with
me and watches over my home and
children, always step to step with God.
I can see a breeze on a still day, and
I know it is her, my children awake
every morning with a new breath and
I know that it is her.
She is my loving, caring guide and
she always watches over me. |
