Dark Emily comes to visit,
the Moon, lost in her eyes,
her skin as smooth as ivory silk,
her hair as black as night.
I tried to close the entranceway,
but, Emily crawls through,
she weaves her web inside this room,
I sink much deeper, in my tomb,
Of past mistakes, and love's regret,
that in themselves, are woeful.
But, Emily cannot refrain,
from gnawing further at my pain.
They told me that, one day, she'd come,
but all are blind to reason,
and as she traps me in this place,
I scream, inside... that soon, she'll leave!
