There was nothing to say

just a wave goodbye

we knew it was over

no tears left to cry,

just failure in heart

anger in soul

nothing should end

this was not the way to go.

Always tomorrow

but what could we do

fighting the odds

trying to make one plus zero two,

both at the end of

what we can give

two people working

to make ends meet,

bills to pay

always the same

relentless the same

eating us away.

Too much too little

taking it all out of us

now all thats left

is a wave goodbye,

dont want to do this

need to run after you

drained to the core

how do we live

when this world demands more.
