This poetic inspiration didn't come from this Chachapoya Mummy-
but it seems fitting since I don't think I will find an actual photo
to depict what it is I see from this very visual inspiration...

Descried Visions

The dogma of tongues
are forking in the succumbing road;
Slithering quintessentially
beneath intentions starveling lie…
I looked with elements fire
into the fainted haze of distant mirages;
I seen black dromedaries
saddled with antediluvian swords,
and the imprisoned skeleton carcasses
they had drudged for centuries…
Living bones imprisoned of ivory tusks
were making a watery tower appear.
The historic waves crashed
upon its translucent mossy stone walls;
Dancing with the winds of prehistoric turbulence…
I seen emeralds rarity upon seductive ruby passion,
kissing sapphire robed savants with confessions…
…as the all seeing eyes of contradictions drew meaning
inside my mind’s stillness’s of disbelief, I peered deeper;
As my soul approached like thunderous tides
from archeries of beauteous onyx prisms…
And then I seen a gaunt master of archaic deception
cursing hatred into the impaled mammoth skies closing;
Drawing scriptures upon parchments leather;
Sealed with the briar cross of mortal wounds…
And this is when my hazel green eyes welled
from hidden pools of sorrows undeniable creed;
Offering pious hymns from my traveling soul…
Foundering inside foreign tongues…I spoke like blind lightening;
Wondering where you were when preacher’s perfidy
tried to harm truth’s descried visions into deafness?

Vickie I think of you as one of the greatest when it comes to writing and often wish I could reach that level,however I believe I am as far as I'll ever go. Another great write shared by one of the greatest.
