The day begins
the light starts sparkling
fresh air comes to the room
perhaps that’s you
perhaps me?
a warm room
a warm cuddle
I rub my eyes and look at you
it’s the stars
the moon
the chemistry of love
it’s a fantasy
or an illusion
it’s you, it’s me
it is the heavens I see.

You hold my face in your hands
you kiss my forehead, rub my hair
I touch your hands
warm hands
you make an opening phrase
like every single day.
“How beautiful day my zwaya/my son, my sweetheart, my prince!”
"wake up, wake up, you are late" you say
I ignore what you say!
then you remind me of the last night
a story of birds
the moon
the shining stars
and the love.

I hide my face in the bed
like a defeated soldier of war
“I am tired ....” I say.
You rub my feet
I respond with a smile
you love that smile
you wake me up
we stand facing each other
you holding my face in your hands
me looking into your eyes
Asking for some more sleep.

But now
I am young and strong
I stand like a strong frame,
yet I need you
for I am nothing without you!
and every word
that you said to me
every pain
that you bear for me
every smile
that you bring for me
remains in my chest’s wardrobe Moorey/ mum
and I will gladly give them back
and you know me for that Moorey
Don't you?

But for now
all I need is a silent evening
a morning
and the kiss on my forehead
to sleep for a while in your arms- Moor Jan
I am tired......!!!

( Farid Gul, London, May 10 2009 )

A poem dedicated to every mother in the world- dead or alive.
Today I have nothing to offer you Moorey - only these little words. I love you Moor Jan and you know that as well since nobody can understand me like you do!
