... Revisited, because, well, you know, it's Groundhog Day, and Revised, because ... well, think (HOPE) I made it better. LOL!

Feel sorry for poor ol' Punxsutawney Phil ... no wonder he's grouchy. I would be, too. =]

All snug in his burrow, the Groundhog:  was
sound asleep until the !! BIG HAND !! of the
Inner Circle reached in and hoisted him up
into the artificial sun made by media spots ---

Tell us, O-Wise-and-Wonderful-Prognosticator
-of-all-things-mysterious:  D o  you see your
shadow?  Can you say if there will be six more
weeks of Winter?
Fools --- believe what you

want.  He won't divulge his secrets.  Poor thing
can't see past his own nose or need for rest ---
Spring will get here soon enough.  Always has.
You don't need a Groundhog to tell you that. ...

KARLA - WELL SAID, DOLL!

What we need for next year is - some ole Scandinavian Sniper 'Grouch' like ...

Georg EDvard to sneak in there the nite b4, swap ole Phil out, into a nice warm, soft-bedded pet carrier - and put a Bear-Trap in his burrow -

next am - they'd have a One-Handed Mayor in ole Punx !!!

So much then for 'Tradition!' Bear Hugs n' Warmth ... T-Kat.

Poor Punxsutawny Phil: no wonder the poor furry guy is so grouchy! I would too if I had my nice, long winter nap rudely interrupted just because some people want to know if spring is on the way or not! Damn weather lore! LOL AdorABle poem; well done, Karla! (yes, I did use the D-word! LOL)

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :D

Now imagine ME if I had a nice, long nap like that and you woke me up. Oh, boy, the fur would FLY with the quickness! LOLOLOLOLOL

Poor little ground hog. Maybe we'll see him at the Oscar's some year. He certainly deserves one. Flashy little designer outfit with a hot little bimbo in tow. Now that would be something. Cute poem.
