High expectation, may lead to too much anticipation. Then we may suffer great disappointment, intead of annointment.

We pop out of the womb
only to return to the tomb
Life will very seldom annoint
because it is full of disappoint
Anticipating a lot
one in a million end up with
the jackpot
Love ends up more like not
but for sure we'll finally rot

Forget anticipating love
others will mostly push & shove
Many expect high
but barely get by
then try to figure why
Maybe they didn't apply
or maybe they did
Success lives basically in the head
and must be constantly feed
or we can anticipate the red
A deep dive instead

It can be a mistake to even
anticipate life
one things for sure you can expect
misery and strife
It is certainly understood
it's positive to anticipate good
even in a disappointing mood
