A Poem For A Beautiful Musician

Your music weaves magic on its listeners

drifting them into their fantasies

beautiful, little fairies

dance on horizons of their imaginations

tiny, weightless steps of fairies giggling

tickling their souls

filling them with ecstatic drunken-ness of love

their hearts overflow with dreams

Your body moves

with each note of your creation

nobody knows

if music is rising from instruments

or your body movements

Is your music a candle?

that has burnt and melted

and took the shape of your body!

Or is it that your body and its movements

burning in the heat of your breaths

shining on the skies beyond the oceans

pours endless symphonies of charm

creates delusions

that all our troubles

are about to get washed away

under falls of fragrance of your nearness

all our tears

are about to become flowers

all our wounds

that life has decorated us with

are about to become stars

that shine in little girl's eyes

when in the garden

she runs after butterflies

Let’s close our eyes

bow our heads

breaking down all physical barriers

let the heartache float like clouds

let the desires smoulder like wet sticks

let’s dissolve into each other

shaking off unbearable lightness of being

without worrying

who lives who dies

who laughs who cries

let’s become a note of your music

that penetrates all barriers

that requires no body, no carriers

that is charming too, eluding too

visible too, hidden too

contains whole universe

but remains empty too

that is me too

and you .

Hold the Sails

Hold the sails tight
Heavy are floods of rain
Strong are torrents

How fitful are waves!
How far are shores!

Except sky and ocean
No other companion

Without oceanic thinking,
Only a desert, this life.
