An Impetuous Dream

My dream's in danger
Of coming true !
In ten short months
I'll be basking in the sun
Aboard a great white ship
Bound for
The exotic Caribbean.
My every wish
Will be their command,
And as fantasy after fantasy
Becomes reality
I'll say adieu
To these long, gray days
Of wispy sadness.
Perhaps I am mad
For spending my money
In this way
When I have
So many obligations
Reaching and tearing at me
Like angry demons,
But
After so many bitter disappointments
I think
I can be forgiven
My impetuosity.

you enjoy yourself and live dangerously
enjoy the beauties of life
obligations can wait for another day
Love & peace be with you
