My heart’s being eaten away

The blood red turning dull and grey.
The life being squeezed out
But from my mouth you hear no shout.
The squishy tissue of my brain
Becoming sodden as if in rain.
The floods of tears
Now gone like fears.

As my life ebbs away.

My heart tells me I should stay
But my brain drags me away.
Down into the deep dark pit
Like an addict after a hit.

Wow, that is raw intensity, and just what is needed, especially for other addicts to read.

Powerful penn. A punch in the face write.
Always listen to your heart.
Many will relate to this penn.
A dark, almost Poesque type of write.
