Just a little note
To brighten your day.
To tell you that you are appreciated
In so many ways.

You came into our home
and into our hearts
You are the part of the family
that played an important part.

If it wasnít for you
where would we be?
Still unaware
and engulfed by the sea.

Living with Autism
isnít much fun,
but watching Brad learn
is a task we have won.

Learning to do puzzles,
and building with blocks,
Brad learned a lot
that sly little fox!

Blowing bubbles
throwing balls
and the bad little thing
of marking up the walls.

So to the woman
known as Miss Shirley,
thank you for showing me
to catch Autism early!

Great poem Lisa! Is nice to know there are people out there in this wicked world who are willing to help us overcome our obstacles. Keep writing! You're really very talented.

This is a very good poem on the struggles in Life. Each of us have our own struggles to bear. Some have more struggles than others. It's nice to have someone to help them with and show them how to endure their struggle.
Everyone has struggles in their Life because that is a part of this Life. It is nice to hear poems that tell of the good things that come out of the struggles.

A beautiful tribute. You were able to put many years of hurt, joy, understanding, and thanks into a lovely poem. Nice work with lots of deep feelings!
