~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
your kiss, it lingers on my lips
like dew on a crimson rose
the tender touch of fingertips
only the flesh of a lover knows
I am free when you touch me
no heavy chains or prison bars
kiss me breathless, kiss me
'neath summer moon and stars
and let me lie but for a while
with your loving arms surround
sodden, spent with passion wild
let all we once lost be found
my kiss will linger on your lips
my scent cling to your bare skin
as hummingbird from a lily sips
kiss me deeply, kiss me again
Music "Play Me"
My dear La Belle, you are a born lover, destined from the beginning to share with us all the passions we feel but can't always bring to the surface and put into words.
"...kiss me deeply, kiss me again." I read your words and swoon.
The music you chose as background offers the perfect setting.
My dear woman, you are an extraordinary talent!
I think the imagey is good in this poem, especially when you connect the surrondings to your feelings. Good job.
