This is a poem about a child full of hope and grace;
And a child of courage, and what she's had to face.
Ronee' was her name, and she was nine,
And she had a heart that was loving and kind.
She had many problems, but she was a joy;
She brought many smiles to the girls and boys!
Arthritis ravaged her joints, and she had a limp;
But she didn't care if people called her a "gimp".
She used crutches, and a wheelchair at times;
But it was rather seldom when she cried or whined.
She had her bad days, but you didn't know it;
For she was full of charm, courage, and wit!!
She was small for her age, looking more like six;
But there wasn't a problem that she couldn't fix!
Full of daring, and also full of mischief and love;
She knew that she had help from God Above!
For it was He that got her through thick and thin;
Maybe this is why she had so much love within!!
She loved life, attacked it with the tenacity of a lion;
But, at times, needed a hug and a friend to cry on!
A Miracle is she; she has triumphed over the worst;
And she isn't afraid to say, in her life, God is First!!

Ronee' continues to amaze and astound people with her vibrant personality. She is going to be ten years old in December, but she has survived so much in her life; and now that she has Jesus in her life, she is doing all she can to share His Love with others!! And yes, she still wants to be a country/Cajun singer and be a member of the Grand Ole Opry!!
And it is to Jesus, Himself, that I give the credit, for He gave me this Gift, and He gave me this Gift of creating characters such as Ronee', M'Buti, Johnny, and others that I write about!! So, Jesus, THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH!!!! I am indeed *BLESSED*!! :)
