|A most touching and meaningful sharing, Faye. Again you express a theme that is sadly too common in this life/world/dimension. Thank you. Love, peace, strength, and best wishes to you,

|Haunting and painful.
There are 2 things we nice guys can never understand.
The first, is how any man can treat his lady wrong.
The second, is why we get passed up for those guys.
But we're here- your second of third choice.
What a moment it was when I lifted my hand to carress my sweetie's face and she realized that she didn't duck expecting the blow.
She was finally used to me.

|That takes so much courage. Well done.
You paint this piece with small, straightforward lines that each leave an impact. The hard, tight rhymes stop us at the end of each couplet reinforcing the feelings of the slaps. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but it works. --Charlie
