Friends are minted in so many different alloys.

Some are like cast pot metal, based on utility, they
Last briefly and break under the slightest stress.

Others are like aluminum, they take a lot of heat and
Pressure until they melt into a shapeless puddle.

A few are like stainless steel, they're durable and
Withstand the corrosive tears that moisten our lives.

Silver describes those that are unique and valuable,
Yet who tarnish if not protected and polished.

Golden can only describe those that are found rarely
In a lifetime, and shine regally above the rest.

And then there are friends like you…

Forged of the strongest, most valuable and everlasting of
All the metals… Platinum.

So nice to take a walk down memory lane with such friends from long ago. I so do hope you are doing well. Always stay close as the heart is a stranger when so much time goes by and those good things in our hearts are worth much more.

Yes Marilyn, I am your friend. But sometimes I am tarnished and am not a good friend. And sometimes when I am hurt, I do not feel like your friend at all. But most of the time I know you are my best friend in this world, and this makes me feel like PLATINUM ... walking on the clouds and gathering stars to put in your hair ... holding the Sun in my hand so it will cast it rays on your countenance and worship your friendship the way I do. Yes dear heart ... you are my one friend. The only one I
have. !Que nuestro amistad queda por siempre! Y caminamos juntados mano a mano hasta el rumbo de la manana Abrazos. Guillermo. (Bill)
