The summer breeze blew,

Through the open window,

Across her body, draped across the sheets,

Her arm encircled the satin pillow,

Sleepily, she smiled.


For though he left in the light of early morn,

The love they made still clung to her,

Like alcohol or drug induced oblivion,

Leaving her wanting..always wanting… him.

mmmm! The peaceful awakening on the morning after a night of passion! And the feeling of "want" that rises again to the surface. I love that feeling!
