As a diabetic, my life goes up in down emotionally in my battle. Here is how I feel some days.

I try to do all I should do
but I just can’t satisfy you.
I can try so hard just to please
but you hang here like a disease.
When I feel like it’s all in vain
and you place me in such a strain
you ease up and allow me hope
that once again I can cope.
You play me like a cat and mouse
tight in your paws then run the house.
You let me think I have you licked
then again I learn I’ve been tricked.
I wish I could send you away
so far that you would have to stay
but I know that I’m stuck with you
no matter what I try to do.
Your appetite grows every day
taking more of my friends away.
You think you will always beat us
since your name is diabetes.

Diabetes is a horrible disease. I know: my mom had it; that's what got her in the end. She was not even sixty when she died twenty years ago. Have known far too many people with it or people who have suffered as a result of this. Praying for you~

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

They said that I am suffering of diabetes, and then they said I am not; I wish the quack docs make their cotton-picking minds if they have some!
The worst a patient can hear from his doctor is, "oops!"

I've been diabetic since 1995, so I know exactly how you feel.

Cheers and best wishe,
