Just playing with words.

To many thoughts invading
peace of mind evading.
Irratic fanatic seeing in pattterns
staying clear of all that matters.

seeing in all directions
lacking some in predictions.
Thought contraction
mind in fraction.

Cactus head
needles shead
upon the world
in tounge absurd.

Your "playing with words" elicits thought as one reads your verses, Elisabeth. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

Keep on playing. This was fun if not a reminder a little down time is occasionally necessary. Patrick

Elisabeth, you have poetically scribed the "Cactus Head" theory that all have or will subscribe to at sometime in their life. I thought for a time it was associated with the era of information overload. But it is not so. It is a period when we withdraw and reexamine our personal beliefs, our values and assess where in life we are relative to those beliefs. An interesting write my friend. My peace and love be always with you. Jon Michael

Interesting and unigue write that paints a sharp image and leaves the reader to contemplate the lines and the lines between the lines.
