Caritz / jigsaw puzzle

Jigsaw Puzzle

  on a rainy day
how can she be happy
with the many things that make her fade

pieces here and there
  like a jigsaw puzzle
can it ever last more than one day

but it's long enough
  just to make me wonder
is there something I could do to show

 I remember a time
   when our smiles would linger
still you know that was so long ago

somewhere down the road
 I know that you're feeling
holding things in boxes that you find

  pieces here and there
 like a jigsaw puzzle
    finding one another intertwined

 and it's coming clear
   all this  makes me wonder
'bout the little things that show we care

  I remember a sigh
and the wind in your hair
wishing you were here or I were there

Chris,

How sad not to be with the one you love. Wonderful write and metaphor.
