New Day

Saul and Stephan weren't very good friends.

New Day

Stephan badly stoned

Falling to the ground on a pile

Of coats guarded by the Pharisee

Saul loaded his horse on the back of the truck

Eyes have not seen

What words would say

Saul cried all the way home

Stephan mumbled the name of the Lord

The old church was dark

Creepy under a fool’s moon

Preacher’s eyes flashing blood red

Finger pointing south to the ground

Lightning flashed

“I see Jesus” shouted

The stoned one, Saul fell

From the burning truck struck blind

Next morning’s

Sun rose early before

The Preacher had his first drink

A newness filled the sulfuric blue sky

An interesting account of Saul and Stephan, filled with amazing imagery and again, superior writing.
Much peace, love and light,
