Exactly what it says... ...

My tears won't stop
My heart has given up
My last chance for love

I pretend I don't care
I could find love anywhere
This is what I tell myself

As my tears start to flow
I 'candy coat' them
Not wanting a soul to know

I throughly lie. ..
Almost believing myself
My candy coated tears

Sometimes we do have to candy coat things even if it is only to help us look past what we are not ready to face and move past it. Great write.

What sadness! But also very much about life itself.

Peace,

This is so filled with sadness...but the truth is, we all candy-coat things at some point or other in our lives, don't we?
