We're all in the same boat

Photo:Revo-design.com

Pity the goat

That crossed the moat

And found the gator

That promptly ate her

For all to see

That silly goat was me

Pity the gator

Who discovered later

A fashion coup

And became a shoe

It was meant to be

That silly gator was me

Pity the cobbler

His future a gobbler

Where fashion meets Dharma

And Gatorade Karma

Mother Nature’s fee

That silly cobbler was me

Pity the fashionable

Now everything rationable

From water to air

Excluding despair

It never had to be

The culprits are you and me

You can put your trademark on that. Funny, but so sadly true. When we are going down, will we take our designer duds with us?

Think we are all sinking fast so keep a life jacket and a pair of oars close by and maybe a easy to assemble tent just in case...

Wow! What a round-about, though clever way to make an environmental statement.

Confession is good for the soul. Karma is a good indicator of absolvement to he who speaks up followed by putting repentance into motion. Good poetry with moral nutrition and all that jazz without preaching wrongdoing...well received, Patrick.
