A week of solitude in the country works its magic...

Cherished quietude

Where deepest indigo and diamonds bright

Cloak Eternal Night

As peaceful repose transports All

To secret lands beyond Maya’s veil

Ahhh, Blessed Blissful Quietude

Nocturnal flights of fantasy

Focus insight’s searing lens

Whilst flowing consciousness turns The Wheel

That which was and is, is not

At daybreak a new stage greets the morn

As echoed birdsongs guide

Wandering astral souls’ return

Gift of Light Renewed

Ahhh, Blessed Breath of Life

We all need those occasional get-aways to "Regenerate" and rejuvinate. It's a time for looking outward instead of inward and enjoying whatever beauty there is around us.

C.G., your style and choice of verbiage are wonderful as always -- as for the regeneration process, mystery knows no depth like that of deep sleep -- may peace and love be always with you my friend -- Jon Michael

I agree with your preface, Carolyn....a week away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd and the city help you to take stop and listen to perhaps what it was you were not able to hear....both inwardly and outwardly. Beautiful enjoy your work.

Reading this lovely piece has regenerated me. And that takes a great deal of revival. A great writing.
