Death in the Pot!

Hungry Elisha

At wilderness school

With his band of rowdy prophets

Listening to no one

Making a stew

Of gourds and weeds

Elisha sat watching

They all took a portion

They cried out at once!

“O man of God

There’s death in the pot!”

“Throw in the flour,”

Cried Elisha!

Death left the pot

The band of rowdy prophets

Ate in peace.

Very clever. Gourds and weeds...hmm...probably a healthy fair but unpalatable, much like the prophets message. J'nia

Other than 'preaching' what good is a prophet, major or minor. Good write.
