she visits my translucent dreamscape...

Her Burgeoning

meadow mystery

harrows cabalic clouds

unsheathing spangle cloaks

swansdown unearths relics

dappled within perfuming gardens

mortality knows secrets beheld

kept upon knolls diuturnal whisper

quietude's sing in tranquil stillness

as her remains are life growing

inside lithospheres final promise

embalmed to ashes crematory

we walk with churchwardens gown

as their mortal flesh baths unaware

swilling with their descrying souls

evermore into these marrows

under the sheltering branches

of her burgeoning pecan grove...

Vickie, a uniquely beautiful work -- the figures you have created march in and out of relative time 'til their laid 'neath the boundary trees for eternity's mark -- may peace and love be always with you my dear friend -- Jon Michael

Dark, darker, darkest, a nymph shrouded in black wandering about my dreams.

The handling of this, Vickie, is particularly impressive, how the images flow into one another effortlessly, seamlessly transitioning;
just look at the power and aptness of 'cabalic clouds' and 'lithospheres final promise'...Sage is right, you're one of a kind.

Beautiful write on the dark side of death filled with mystery throughout your words Vickie.

Wonderful telling, striding into eternity. Your writing affirms a place in history, which is strong, Victoria...Your poetry often reminds me of Egyptian expression, the tombs, the mummies, the gardens, the statuary,'re one of a kind.

Yes I could feel an almost spiritual awakening or realization in this one Vic as if you had suddenly thought or came to a conclusion in reverency.
