No Lucky Stars for You

I shoulda seen it coming

But then I shoulda guessed

You didn’t give me anything

Your heart didn’t possess

The day on the train

You kept showing me your scars

In the night we were moving

I had no lucky stars

December cold snow fell

held you warmly in my arms

You had no secrets left to tell

Your lips had lost their charm

Watching you walking to forever

From the window in the door

No tears or sadness flowed

Good-bye to you forevermore.

takes awhile

the heart is at its source

I find this offering as clarity
it is a very good feeling to let go of someone
especially if they are walking away from us
I must say too I absolutely Love this line:

"You didn't give me anything
Your heart didn't possess"

Love Gets Better With Different Stars

Such a cold parting...the trouble is in showing scars is just not enough...we've got to earn those scars' right to moving on, then and only then will they melt a little deeper into the skin and not be so visible...Hello to you forevermore, Dayvid.
