Waiting for you

by Kathy Lynn

I go down to the ocean
sit on the warm sand
Gaze at the waves
rushing into the land
thinking of you on the other shore
so far away-so far away

i will walk on moonbeams
climb up to the stars
slide down on rainbows
to be where you are

I go to the sea
and down on the beach
I watch the waters
claim the sand
I watch the waters
retreat from the land
I sit and gaze out
across the sea
and wait for you
to come to me

So beautiful, Hazel eyes. Oh, that one so longed for me once again as had so many years in the past. These few words touch me to the heart.
