With vigilance they guard the nest,
In turn they forage food.
Baby Swallows chirping away,
During dinner’s interlude!
A close-knit feathered family,
Nature’s taught them well,
Perfect parenting Nature’s way,
Secrets they’ll never tell!
All day long the Swallow’s toil,
Family is everything!
And when evening shadows fall,
The young learn how to sing.
In their nest upon the boathouse,
The Swallows live in peace.
And when springtime returns again,
You can bet they’ll renew their lease!
