Rube Goldberg has nothing on my neighbor down the road.

Photo:Yes seeing is believing

The local folks call this

Ozark ingenuity

Who am I to argue

It won’t be so in perpetuity

Now make a wish upon that dish

Anchored firmly to the stump

Then at dawn catch monster fish

At noon watch Forrest Gump

Because life is like a box of tackle

You never know just what you'll hook

But until you find the proper lure

You’ll find there’s nothing much to cook

At least we didn't get caught in the speed trap by the local sheriff as Patrick rolled along taking pics here and there. Life is beautiful in these here hills, I have to tell you. And PLEASE do not believe what you see in the film "Winter's Bone." Good book and probably a good film, but very scary. Patrick has caught more of the essence of the sweet life here--making do with what you've got! So when do we retire?

Hey, my girlfriend and I have one of those electric boats on Westlake Lake and every now and then there's a line of fishing line strung over the boat with the hook caught in the boat's cover so I'd guess those idiots were boat fishing.
Very funny, very cute, Patrick, my friend.
Mark
