Flowers On Graves
By La Belle Rouge

Flowers on graves
are for the living
But somehow, Daddy,
I hope you can smell
the fresh sweetness
of the ones I gave you
on this Father's Day

My father and mother are laid together though they spent most of their married life apart, so the flowers have double significance for me whenever I lay them. You are so right that they ARE for the salve and comfort of the living but the gardens of the heart they represent that are always a sweet offering of love, tribute and memorial to the dear departed is what we hope they know of and visit every day of our lives. To our Daddy's, we will always be his little girl. Tender and fragrant, Belle. Enjoy your sweet, sweet memories. xx

Oh Father's Day...where are my children?...
At least, this little girl remembered.
