I was seed at first
fell to the ground,
innocent and defenseless.

Many years passed by
as I grew my roots
and matured.

I was shaken by
violent storms
survived heavy downpours
that all seemed to bring
the death of me.

Through the years I
learned to adapt
to my environment
though hostile it seemed
at times.

I kept reaching for the sky
I held my little arms
high in praise to every
ray of sun that caressed
my tiny frame.

Taking only the good with me
discarding patterns of
no use
i learned to thrive
in the harshest of climate.

I have become a giant
not of stature
but of spirit.

I have come far enough
to stand up tall and
strong inside,
though twisted and bent
on the outside.

I'm still tossed by
heavy storms
drenched by fearsome
rain.

But it matters not to me
the sun I have is with me
and I will share with you
until the end of time.

I was small
I was withered.
..Once.
Now I am
Strong, Strong, Stronger.

Trees are just so amazing. People who pass them by without a notice really miss out on the peaceful feelings they give out. I love what you did with this, combining the seasons with recognizable images of them.
