This is so true. I love watching the dawn creep in on angels' wings...setting the sky aglow with a palette of soft pastels. I think that because fewer people see the sunrise's they are made special for those who gaze upon them.

Beautiful, silken poem ~ I truly love the ending and message.
"The breeze at dawn..." is one of the poems I say to myself each morning at breakfast. Another of my favorites each morning is "Don't sit with indifferent people..." I love Rumi quotes to help get the day off to a daring start!
You are a poet I will read often.
Blessings,
Christine |

Dawn, Yesterday of course you know, was the Summer solstice...I am always affected by nature..This morning, after a restless night, I woke up at exactly "dawn"...I never get up this early, I write late at night when my muses are alive and kickin..I got up went to the bathroom, and decided to stay up. As Rumi says, don't go back to sleep, such wise words, I am so grateful to have been able to welcome this day in at that early hour..You are right, there are secrets in the breeze at dawn... Lovely write for me to read on this special morning in Connecticut...I love your writing and it always speaks to me with "your secrets", my friend...
Peace, love and light,
Amber "V" |
