Guess its just a matter of taste & if I have to have taste to enjoy World Cup soccer, then I guess I don't have any...e

I know with the rest of the world,

That soccer is a big sport,

But I don’t ever remember,

When the US got so involved,

So many fans in this country & to the world they herald…

The news reports at all hours,

Are showing the US with their 1 point win,

Over Algeria, on all the fans is there now a grin,

Women are smiling and guys are showing off their powers…

I don’t find it to be all that interesting,

Rather see real American football or even baseball,

I guess to some soccer brings about a zing,

But give me a game involving the Cowboys & Eagles,

Now that kind of game will definitely of me enthrall…

Me neither. Futbol or football, it's all the same... Roman games with gladiators ... war short of killing... for big bets. Shame, shame.

Definitely requires cold beer to watch, much like baseball. At least most soccer teams score more than my Detroit Tigers. Patrick

The Cowboys and The Eagles? Fugedaboutit! If you root for either of them you should take Jimmy Hoffa's place in the new Meadowlands. Now give me a Super Bowl with The Jets and Giants and I'll....

I think soccer's a damn good sport, and it's even better with a cold beer.

Ain't gonna play no soccer on the stinking swamps of Jersey, PeeWee said it, but he is from Chicago and Ma never ever apologized for it!!!

There is only one thing more important than soccer, and that's winning at soccer. The states have a pdg team.

It provides us all with a pleasant distraction!! Why worry over affairs of real importance, when the whole world is playing soccer eh!
On with the game x0x0
