This is written more of a country song.
Maybe the next one will be more smiles in it.

I Don’t Recall The Pain
June 27, 2010
By Rose marie Rideout

I don’t remember you leaving,
And I don’t recall the pain,
I know something must have forced you,
For lonliness is all you can gain.
You say that you’ve found another,
You have hurt me for far too long.
You walked out of my world sweet love,
Now all I’ve ever wanted is gone.

CHORUS:
No I don’t remember you leaving,
And I don’t recall the pain,
I know something must have forced you,
For lonliness is all you can gain.

You came back for the things that you left here,
I looked at you eye to eye,
I saw the hurt you were feeling,
For you never wanted to say good-bye.
Arms fell to each other in wanting,
To hold on to love till the end,
So tell me darling what you’re doing,
You know this is far from the end.

CHORUS:

I ask you darling to hear me,
Listen to what I have to say,
I don’t recall your hurting,
Maybe it was me who made you stray.
Come back inside, close the door dear,
Lets cuddle while we talk things out.
For I don’t recall the pain dear,
I don’t know what this is about

Repeat  Twice

CHORUS...

This speaks volumes to all those who are caught in that desperate love-tug of "can't live with or without" and of those who TRY their hardest to make things right but just can't do it for each other. Gut- and heart-wrenching stuff, Rose, and you are gifted at song-writing... This feels right and so natural for you. xx
