Winds of Renewal
Indwelling secured worship
Comes to Head
A buffalo skull drug by a horse
Nun's veiling protects identity
protecting sexual preference
guarding religious freedom
switchbacks crossing the fence
observers of the stars where we're from
strategic elite expanding our reach to ascension
tipi poles ride on the horse-hitched travois
away from all the noise - we take only sure
shots when the monitors are watching - I hit two
impaled upon the rebar sprouting out of the top of
the church steeple...saddle weary I've dismounted to
finish on my knees from the mouth of endurance.

|Intrique and intensity, I have always wondered about the Wiccan way of life and this poem explores so much of a coss cultural rift.
