Matthew 24:24 Another One Bites the Dust

I can tell when
the path has been
thrown off by the evil print,
my inner ninja wolf scratches the
scent, I mark fatal musk deeper into his
failure, and then I howl for the others, good
daughters tell your mothers, good sons tell
your fathers,

I can tell when
the forest trees
have been touched
by the evil claw, the bees
secrete curare on his tormented
Jesus, vindicator toxins swell,

I can tell when
my den has been
infiltrated, my inner
ninja hungry like the wolf,
shapeshifter, I've come to
avenge the sinner,

I can tell when
scripture casts its
call of the wild, "For false
Christs and false prophets
will arise and will show great
signs and wonders, so as to
mislead, if possible, even the elect."
Matthew 24:24,

Revelation 19:20
"And the beast was seized,
and with him the false prophet
who performed the signs in his
presence, by which he deceived
those who had received the mark
of the beast and those who worshiped
his image; these two were thrown alive into
the lake of fire which burns with brimstone."

I can tell when
another one bites
the dust, my inner
ninja wolf throws down
caltrop tashibishi, no matter
how they land, there's always
a sharp edge pointing up, repentance
narcs be careful where you step those
who worship his image.

Never have cared for the taste of dust, but the fatal musk sounds interesting. Just don't howl at me. Patrick

The Evil Empire falls. Those who say "Lord Lord" no matter how they land there's always a sharp edge pointing up. I guess I hadn't heard the news. Another one bites? Is it me? "Go and do what you have to do."

Peace and dustless sandals,

Walking a fine line with the righteous on one side and the unrepentant on the other, then there are those who speak in front and again behind. I sense the sheep in wolves clothing where we must be forever vigilant...

I've been longing to get in the DELICIOUS word "prestidigitation" for about a week now and have failed to include it in a poem - surprise, surprise!! :)) But here is, perhaps, the perfect opportunity... The Big Bad Wolf comes in Grandma's known and comforting red silk cloak, ventriloquising her "My dear!" sweet voice, throwing the victim into total confusion. The Serpent did no less, bamboozling Eve with a suggestion of God's own words... "Did God not say... Did God not say??!!" The greatest counterfeit is merely a shade from the Truth, a slight change of emphasis here or there, just a tidy sleight of hand... It takes Red Riding Hood's Superwoman She-Wolf cape to perhaps be able to tell the difference and unsheath a deadly blade from her suspender belt....!! There are maybe two marks, one for The Elect and the other The Beast... perhaps as similar as a 6 and a 9... so therefore it depends which way up you're standing (or whatever!!).... We're always impressed by your pearly poetic teeth, Darlin... slippery when wet; Yes, we'll be careful where we tread, thank you!! LOVE this! :)) xx

A real thought provoking gem. I fully understand the repentance in this great piece.
