Children are bound to their mothers
By an unconditional, eternal bond.
This bond is far from ordinary,
With intricate weaves, ethereal and finite,
Fashioned out of the fabric of time!
The bond is flexible, never brittle,
Constantly flexing with give and take.
Children are born to test its durability,
Pulling and stretching as they grow!
Some of them fumble with the knot
Right next to the mother’s heart,
But that knot is impossible to unfasten,
For love protects the bond
That has no beginning and no end!
