Perfect Bond

Children are bound to their mothers
By an unconditional, eternal bond.
This bond is far from ordinary,
With intricate weaves, ethereal and finite,
Fashioned out of the fabric of time!
The bond is flexible, never brittle,
Constantly flexing with give and take.
Children are born to test its durability,
Pulling and stretching as they grow!
Some of them fumble with the knot
Right next to the mother’s heart,
But that knot is impossible to unfasten,
For love protects the bond
That has no beginning and no end!

This is so true Annabel. I see the bond that my sons have with their mother and it is a beautiful thing. Though I know they love me as well, there is nothing like a mother's love. May God bless you every day of your life.

The word "perfect" describes it well. There is no greater bond than a mother's love for her child, nor a child's love for his/her mother.
Well said.

SO VERY TRUE...THAT BOND BETWEEN MOTHER AND CHILD...JUST CAN'T BE UNDERSTOOD BY EARTHLY STANDARDS....FOR IT WAS FORMED AND ANCHORED IN HEAVEN. EXCELLENT AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING, ANNABELL, AND GOD BLESS YOU. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

The best part is that there's no warranty period and the recalls are always a pleasure. Patrick

My oldest will be fifty-three this month and though we have "fumbled with the knot," and are far different people that, because he is gay, actually live in far different worlds, still the bond of father and son and son and father could not be stronger.
