I’ll Miss You….

Perhaps when fog is on the lake

Your mind may wander far away

As the morning sun first rises

You might remember what I say

With hair wet from morning mist

If you find a few moments all alone

Dial my number heart to heart

Call me on our sweetheart’s phone

I’ll tell you how much I miss you

That baby I hope you’re doing fine

You’ll ask me if I’m doing okay too

I’ll answer yes but I’m counting time

Till once more I see your smiling face

Those lips that drive me crazy too

When I hang up from our heart to heart

I won’t say bye but just…I love you!

Very lyrical, Fee. I can see this as a song. Nicely written. Love and Hugs,

I haven't seen this photo in a few years
I love the essence of its presence & also
the emotional love through your words to console
the lonely heart speaks gently upon time's breadth

I love fog on the lake, especially in the quiet early morn, and it is a wonderful time to reflect.

At the shore around here, on a foggy day, I kind of hope to hear her whispers telling me to tell you that all is fine!

This is just how it is when we're fogged in, Fee...and then everything lifts and there's a clearing open to dial up our heart's channel...this is not a goodbye, just a contemplative break and I think a warm appreciation for a significant other...Happy Fourth!

Love,
Sage
