The Hearth of the Vine

Ode to the Voice,

Ode to the call.

To Heart of the wine,

To the Heart of the matter.

To the present moment,

To those that came before.

To those that will come again,

We Exalt you; we Reveries,

Burrowed in the Jaws of Time,

Silenced with Rhyme.

2 x over

THEN EXPRESS!

Chivalry and Chance,

Summon and Passover.

We Dance and Travel,

Till the Morrow.

We abduct the demon dragon,

Steal it’s breath for our own.

Ride on its wings

Singing a New Song.

We so Wise now, but

Infinitely surprised.

Reconstruction,

Fabricated fun,

The Old Guard is dying,

We must shoulder and shrug.

When you are drooling and dreaming,

Be careful not 2 miss

The beauty right in front of you.
