Slithering down the slope
alluding all who would grope
tenebrous places his choice
forked tongue his voice
into the depths of night
slowly regain my sight
smelling the fetid air
knowing the serpent is near
I have learned not to fear
dirt crawlers cannot harm
those who have the charm
I wait knowing it will attack
probably behind  my back
prepared in ways to fight sin
I spin around in time to win !
