A brief comment on the urge to write |
|
I want to write!
Not knowing to flee or fight
My mind seems to think it's right
But it's really some kind of plight
Having the urge to express
Something new,something fresh
From which others might feel to read
Finding it beneficial, prompted to heed
What troubles me while in between
The feel to write I've felt so keen
Might really never be seen
By those whose hearts I wish serene
But, in the vagueness of a strange light
I still feel, I want to write!

It's a God-given gift, Thurman. Use it wisely, directed by Him, and there will be someone, somewhere, who needed it.

Thurman, God uses you to write. It's my only explanation. Some can draw some can paint...I can't but we all have a gift. As an author I am amazed how well my books sell and so each night I thank the Lord. I did not start off being a writer but all the time I knew it was my way of pleasing others.
May it be the happies and healthiest of years.

Considering your background as shared on your profile page Thurman, I would be very surprised if your did not feel the urge to write quite frequently. Individuals who cultivate spiritual inspiration within their own lives and fans its flames in that of others are often filled with revelatory impulses and imagery that demand expression. Thank you for sharing yours,

| Pretty much sums up how it works for me. The puzzle is why sometimes the words just seem to flow while other times are barren with no words you know. Enjoyed it. God Bless Luke |
