In the Flowers of Love

Written for the angel in my life, who showers me with indescribable love!

In the Flowers of Love

It’s not what I wanted to do

But I did it anyway

She played with the art of my mind

Then opened her heart for me to see.

One of many

She danced on the head of my pin

While Aquinas looked on from beyond

Her fingers running through her hair.

It’s not what I wanted to do

But she took my hand showing me the way

Peeling off layers toward nakedness

She lay surrounded by flowers of love.

Movement expired

But for the sound of wings in my ears

Stillness and naked body beauty intertwined

A tear formed slowly in the corner of her eye.

It’s not what I wanted to do

Her intense desire hot as a brand in fire

Softly she touched my hand to her breast

I bent, kissing her slowly from head to toe.

Opening her all

Seeing clearly what was never seen

She encircled my body with her spirit

And took me to her home in the sky.

It’s everything I wanted to do.
