Dancing in the Moonlight

© Dee McCartney

The other side of the moon.

If only this once to have a chance,
if only you'd take my hand in dance.
This once, this last chance, intrance,
you'd call, enthrall, that's all, this chance.

Off into the dark of night,
your body feels so right,
as I hold you so tight.
and we become one in flight.

Escaping the thought of alone,
under the pale moonlight, ‘til dawn.
So take my hand and dance,
until the pain is gone,

and, I awaken from the dance.

Ron, the world of dreams is truly a magical, mystical place. There, we all can dance until the pain is no more. A blessing that affords us an often needed reprieve from the world of reality. May joy, peace and love be always with you my friend. Jon Michael
