a greyness arrives

Our eyes can project anything our imagination conjours up.

 greyness arrives

    Darkness then light

        Twilight comes. ..

        Before the total night

        Shades & shadows appear

        Shadows of darkness

        Shades of light. ..

        A grayness arrives

        Soon to be light. ..

        I see your silhouette

                     Dancing on the wall

        It calls to me. ..

Enticing me, seducing,
        Commanding, wanting
        My very soul. ..
        I come closer. ..
        Your silhouette
        B
ecomes gray
        Fading as. ..
        The dawn lightens
        This day

So simple, so profound, all encompassing, beautiful...

My interpretation of this poem is that the two are deeply intertwined and that it is sometimes difficult to tell which one prevails. Pleasant reading.
