We enjoyed a slight break from the heat today. I really enjoyed my stroll

The sun was not blaring so hot today

So, I grabbed my cane and went on my way

I said to myself, “it’s time to take my daily stroll

It calms my nerves and soothes my soul

As I sauntered along I watched the trees

As they seemed to relish in the gentle breeze

They had no reason to feel unsettled or anxious

They gently waved and rejoiced in the suns brightness

As the breeze would come and go from different directions

And the sunlight shown bright creating a glorious reflection

I found myself sighing and singing with a song in my heart

A song that resonated with grandeur and Gods love from the start

Oh, how I pleasure in these daily promenades which take place

As I feel a waft of air gently blow across my face

I find myself staring into the Heavenly blue

I glory in each puff of breeze and through their dancing I know the trees do too

Oh, how lovely that sounds! It's been over 107 for over a month now, and the next two will be the same. Desert summers are not even for the birds. I so love the way your wrote that, wish I was there with you.
