We meet a lot of people in our lifetime and a lot of them are friends and then we meet that very special someone who we know shows us their true colours, they are honest down to earth people. They are dependable and there isn't just something that you take too, nothing you can put your finger on because it's everything about them that touches your heart and you realize their friendship is a precious gift. Some things are meant to be. Thank you Kathy for a special precious FRIENDSHIP.
Some Things are Meant to be
July 14, 2010
By Rose Marie Rideout
Special things happen to special people,
Kindness and understanding go a long way,
When two people connect and accept,
A friendship, a special bond begins,
A friendship like no other.
How often can we say we know,
We know that special friend,
Will always be there for us,
No matter where they are in life,
They are just a call away.
How many friends can you depend on,
Often we mistake aquaintances for friends.
We can know a lot of people through life,
That don’t make them friends.
It takes that special connection,
A special understanding between two.
The acceptance of everything we see,
Everything about that friend,
Is loving and kind
It is all part of who they are.
A special friendship is just that,
All that I have found in you,
My dear friend,
My special friend,
My perfect friend,
I accept & love you for you.
You are perfect just the way you are,
Honest, caring, trusting, dependable,
Most of all, you are you
No gimmics, the real deal.
Thank you for being my precious

|Dear Rose, My dad used to say make everyday new friends and do not make a single enemy in one year. I will add if we can make a single friend in one year we are the luckiest people on earth. Yes, a friend like you describe here is special and sometimes unique. Well done love Emile.|

|Such a lovely poem Rose. And the collage illustrates it perfectly. I have a friend like you describe so beautifully and that make you and me very lucky people. They don't come along often and not to everyone.
