... never was any good at math.  Tell
everybody I see figures, break out in
numbers.  But the numbers I see
now add up to division in the ranks:

everyone's mad at each other.  The
haves against the have nots; the
Republicans against the Democrats;
race against culture; the religious ...

anger rules the land.  Apathy is the
god of the day.  Only happiness is
in fairy tales and in the innocent face
of a little child, who is far above the

madness.  Children:  teach your
parents well, because we thought
we were smarter than our moms
and dads and instead, failed ... you.

Times they are a changin...as a great poet and songwriter once said in a song and yes I think the time is not to far off if the governments of all the countries don't start sitting up and taking notice of what the people need and want...fee

Karla, this hits on all cylinders on multiple levels. Know that everything happening in this country is being orchestrated by design. This I can assure you of. We are in the midst of an economic and political take-over from withing. They've run this racket in hundreds of Third World countries. Now they've turned the guns inward and we're next on the chopping block. In order to keep the focus off the perpetrators of the crime (international banking syndicate, trans-national corporate rape artists) they employ "divide and conquer." The oldest trick in the book. They play every group off against the other while they rob us blind, destroy the middle-class, gut the economic base, debauch the currency, run up the credit card, sink us into perpetual wars, off-shore our jobs, etc. Yes, we've failed our young ones. But there is hope. There is a massive awakening happening in this country. Remember, America is a sleeping giant. Look what happened after Pearl harbor. Once the giant takes its first baby-steps and realizes who the enemy is, game over, lights out. I hope it happens sooner rather than later. It will take probably more pain and shock-therapy until the beast rises up and hits back. But this is a great time to be alive. We are about to experience something profound. So stay in the picture Karla. We'll need you and millions others like you. Excellent work!

Karla, you did an excellent job at catching the essence of our world today in a few lines. As always, very well done. Rebecca

Karla, our nation and our culture are being rocked repeatedly by attacks from within. I do not like the mood of my beloved land today. It has me very concerned. Social courtesy is nonexistent and a sense of unity of purpose is evading us. But you and I, we can help usher in a change for the positive. May peace and love be always with you my dear friend. This is so sad, Karla; whatever happened to compassion and caring for others? It's seemed to have gone by the wayside ... Powerfully penned; well done!
