Hands (from The Chocolate Pocket)

You held these hands

And no words were needed.

The warmth of your touch

Spoke your heart

That said

Hold me forever.

The silence of your withdrawal

Still haunts.

Lines of fate still burn these palms.

These hands still long

For the warmth blown away.
