If you got heat,
There you can of it keep...





Yes it’s a bit warm here too,

Just stayin’ in an air conditioned gloom,

Darkness seems to in here extend,

Into the day, though it keeps it cooler, just what I intend…


I hear its HOT, HOT, HOT in the south,

Just keep it there & speak of it with your mouth,

The place to be is at the beach,

The ocean is cooler & from the heat its out of reach…


So if you got, where you live, heat,

Getting out and lassoing it might be a feat,

But try your damndest to keep it there,

For we of the Northeast don’t of it need,

In the south is where it gets it seed…
