Just got in,

What did I do, what sin,

To have to suffer this heat,

The sidewalk is hot on my feet…

The soft sand at the shore,

Is hotter than hell, for sure,

Have to wear flip-flops or sandals,

Feels as if your walking on lit candles…

The ocean is the one bright spot,

Cooler in the low to mid 70s is what we got,

Cools the feet, but is really crowded,

Winds from the southeast all sails are shrouded…

Thought about you all,

Didn’t want to tell you I had a ball,

But I did, I’m sorry, please don’t of me call,

To yell at me and call me names,

Else I will have to take you and drop,

You on the HOT sands flames…

I Love Sea Isle
